  My 74 gallon water heater allowed the water to cool to a lukewarm temperature occasionally. I called Sears Service and a window of 1-4 P.M. was established. The serviceman did not come that day and after I called several times the call was rescheduled. This time the technician showed up and established that the temperature regulator had t be replaced. Several days later he replaced it.
  Today ( about one week later) the same thing happened. I had to wait about 20 minutes before normal temperature was reached.
